Question Meme

ASK A QUESTION it can be anything CFUD related, OOC, IC, Relationship, psychology, thoughts, whatever. I.E. My character's opinion of your character or maybe what you have been wondering about this behavior or that, or general thoughts on my characters or canons or what, who I might consider topping you into apping, etc.

WHEN I REPLY I will also ask you a question in turn!

In this way we talk at each other, which is fun.

OOC question: How's that thesis coming along?

[identity profile] art-crow.livejournal.com 2010-01-13 05:40 am (UTC)(link)
1. Achewood (http://achewood.com/): Achewood is arguably one of the best webcomics ever created. I can hardly express how much love I have for the comic, so one may come to the conclusion that yes I would like to see it in camp.

2. The Muppet Show (any of the films would work too): Because Camp needs more puppets.

3. ...I don't know, Animaniacs maybe? Yes, that would work.

Top three canons that you would not like to see in Camp?

[identity profile] art-crow.livejournal.com 2010-01-15 02:13 am (UTC)(link)
Hmm...well, I gave this question quite a bit of consideration and what I think it would be some kind of wonderful if CFUD did a crossover with another popular RP like Island or Discedo. Never gonna happen but still it's something to think about.

What is your favorite annual Camp event?

[identity profile] goofalot.livejournal.com 2010-01-15 09:33 am (UTC)(link)
Hmm...the mistletoe most likely; Audience Appreciation Day comes in at a close second.

How much longer does Mayuko expect to stay in Camp?

[identity profile] art-crow.livejournal.com 2010-01-15 11:16 pm (UTC)(link)
Yes, with the exception of Huckleberry.

While Crow doesn't mind being in Camp, the Vacation event in a way he is starting to wish that he could be back in the 'ol Satellite of Love. Not that he would willingly admit, but still...and what he missed the most? Probably the Satellite of Love itself, what with it being his home and all.

As for Goofy, like Crow he also enjoys being in Camp, but for him it's not so much his home that he misses as it is that he misses his friends at home (Mickey, Donald, Clarabelle, his son Max, etc...).

As far as I can tell, Huckleberry's doesn't really have a "home" per-say, seeing as how his location differs from cartoon to cartoon. Thus he can't really miss what he doesn't have.

So, Hatori left, huh? How does that make Mayuko feel?

This is a silly question, but how the heck does Mayu deal as a teacher with the madness of having both Yuki and Kyo in her class?

[identity profile] pinged4treasure.livejournal.com 2010-02-10 09:14 am (UTC)(link)
Mayu-sensei so much more on it than my high school homeroom teacher. :')

Axis Powers Hetalia is easier because basically Korea would just like his bros China and Japan back so he can bother love them properly. ♥

Dragon Knights is harder. I grew up with this canon and it's my baby and I have a hard time trusting other people to app from it unless I already know them. I'm such a bad person. ;; But ideally... I'd really like either Tetheus (http://i212.photobucket.com/albums/cc94/VampiressEclipse/Dragon%20Knights/Tetheus.jpg) or Thatz (http://i212.photobucket.com/albums/cc94/VampiressEclipse/Dragon%20Knights/Thatz.jpg) in camp, for selfish pairing type reasons. I've got Kitchel already and canonically she falls hard for the prior but was originally supposed to be paired up with the latter. ...I'd feel more comfortable if Tetheus was in camp, though, since Thatz and Kitchel was my first OTP ever and oh god the temptation to hook them up might be too much for me. ;_;

Why did you decide to app Mayu?

[identity profile] pinged4treasure.livejournal.com 2010-02-10 10:40 pm (UTC)(link)
I've always had a soft spot for the deaging effects, even if I don't have the best characters for it. Actually, there was a gag strip about baby!Korea so at least I'd have icons for that. I don't think that could last for more than a day or so, since there's really not much to do with that other than be a cute and annoying toddler.

I deaged Kaistern once already and just did it again. He has a short story about his past and it gets referenced a few times in the series, which is helpful. I like doing it, though, because he talks to different people when he's young and just has a very different mindset in that he's young and impulsive and hasn't figured out yet where he's going in his life. It's fun for me too, since I've taken him from when he has less than a month to live and he knows he's on his way out. Camp's been a very welcomed vacation for him since it gives him time back and deaging him does that even more.

I want to deage Kitchel too, but I don't have the icon space for it since she doesn't have a paid account. I've got a decent amount of headcanon on her as a child, but the earliest canon shows her is only a year or so from the start of the series. The only practical way to do it would be to take her from the very beginning of the series, which would make her a couple years younger and not really all that different. It might be funny to have her meet all her friends at camp again but that's about it.

Apart from Furuba, what canons would you like to see better represented in camp?

[identity profile] rottenarmsucks.livejournal.com 2010-02-11 12:35 am (UTC)(link)
I would die if people from some really cheesy drama showed up. There are some Asian drama people here already, but I what I really want is someone from this Chinese drama, Ten Brothers. It hits a nice medium between horribly epic cgi and costuming and intense levels of wtf on the screenwriting level. Also, srs literature would be epic. Whoever managed to pull off Shakespeare in camp would have me as their fan for life.

Same question you asked me about the camp effects~

I need to thread with Korea more, but he likes the manha people, of course, and George. George might be Japanese, but he's cool and Korea wants him to come to the Seoul fashion show.

Kitchel's camp bff/little sister is Sapphire, and she also really likes Shiki and Yukinami and whoever else she's currently off bothering. Tsun men with good bodies also ping her hard, but they're not as important as her actual friends.

Kaistern's favorite person is Rath, which is kind of a cheat answer since he's his favorite person IC'ly as well. Other than that, he's pretty much adopted Sapphire. :Db

If Mayu had to be mistletoed with someone still in camp?

[identity profile] rottenarmsucks.livejournal.com 2010-02-11 06:33 am (UTC)(link)
Korea does it willingly. It's an American tradition, so he's being cool and gansta, right? Right?

Kaistern does it. Less willingly, though. More out of resignation that it's what he has to do to get out of it. And he'd really prefer if no one he knew were around. He feels awkward kissing another man and Kitchel's pretty much jailbait still. :||||

Kitchel would not be willing. She would do it eventually, but only after everyone within shouting range knew that she was being forced against her will and that she thought it was weird and creepy. Even if the other two had no choice in it, she might still slap them when it was done.

Camp-enforced bodyswap. Who's the last person Mayu would want to experience that with?

[identity profile] rottenarmsucks.livejournal.com 2010-02-12 02:44 am (UTC)(link)
Korea wants his economy to surpass Japan's.

Kitchel would tell you she wants some treasure or another, but really what she wants is to see Tetheus again. For longer. When she's not stuck in an alternative dimension in a cave. And to actually get his name this time.

Kaistern just wants Rath to be safe.

What world would Mayu like to visit?

We need to bond over Hatori being back home. :( Because we haven't played in forever.

I used to read Stephen King a lot back in high school. I think I read Cujo, Misery, Pet Sementary, Christine and Carrie. They were all right at the time, but, in general, I am not crazy about King's style. On the plus side, I enjoy the interweaving thing he does with characters and concepts from his key canons and I think he is amazing at characters. But I also think he is far too arrogant for his own good, and it seeps into his writing. The end of Dark Tower rubbed me very badly in this aspect. I also think he sucks at writing love. Despite this, Dark Tower is my baaaaaaby. I don't think I will ever love a book series more. It is my Code Geass of literature.

Now that they've finally met, Mayuko's thoughts on/impression of Raidou?
devilofajob: (It's the cape.)

[personal profile] devilofajob 2010-02-13 01:31 am (UTC)(link)
Favorable! Raidou already enjoys talking to Mayuko, because she is friendly and knowledgeable and he really likes learning things. He can see why Narumi would like her. It does bother him a bit that it was ten months before he even met her, when she's been here as long as Narumi and is clearly someone Narumi trusts, but he's aware that there are a lot of people in camp and besides, it's not as if Narumi isn't entitled to have his own friends and his own life that doesn't involve Raidou.

He is very, very curious about what Narumi might have told her about their world, considering that he trusted her enough to tell her about the paranormal aspects, but he's hesitant to ask. Really, he's hesitant to ask her anything regarding her friendship with Narumi, because he figures it's not any of his business.

He would actually not mind talking to her about paranormal matters, but the fact that she knew he and Narumi were involved with them threw him quite a bit.

What are Mayuko's favorite subjects to teach/learn about?
devilofajob: (Nameless Shrine)

[personal profile] devilofajob 2010-02-15 09:32 pm (UTC)(link)
Raidou loves religion and mythology - which is good, because his job involves so much of it, but even if that weren't the case, he is endlessly fascinated with gods and spirits and legends and fairy tales. Literature and art also interest him, although he himself is not a very good artist. The demons generally find his interest in mythology flattering (and occasionally amusing), in part because it makes it clearer that he sees them as individuals worthy of respect rather than just tools to be used and discarded whenever.

He is probably very good at traditional Japanese arts, because the Kuzunohas are very big on traditions.

His least favorite subject is science. (He's not all that fond of mathematics, either; he finds it very dry, and it would have to be presented carefully to get him interested.) Chemistry in particular reminds him of Victor and makes him intensely uncomfortable.

If Mayu had to be bodyswapped, who would she be most comfortable swapping with?
devilofajob: (Prayer)

[personal profile] devilofajob 2010-02-16 12:07 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, Raidou wouldn't seek one out either. He had a difficult enough time meeting himself while still being IN his own body.

Orochi hit Shadow Kanji in the face with Cool Down once (it didn't work). Gdon set Raidou's laptop on fire when a demon emerged from it in Atsuro's intro post, but that was a straight Agidyne, not Ignite. Most of them have probably used their skills in the caves while they've been training, aside from the Pagan demons.

If Mayu could see the demons, which would she most like to talk to, if any? Least?

It's sort of nebulous as to whether Alice is THE Alice or not. She has threaded with Mad Hatter in camp, which was all kinds of fun for that reason.

Gdon is surprisingly well-disposed to humans these days. She still tends to be disdainful towards many of the humans in camp, and no one's going to come close to being as good as Raidou in her eyes, but she's gotten a lot more tolerant, especially if you happen to be on good terms with Raidou. Inugami is pretty friendly, but his appearance tends to be a bit off-putting, much to his confusion, because he doesn't quite get that people don't think dogs should bend that way. Alice LOVES humans, but her method of making friends with them involves killing them so they'll be with her forever and ever. Raidou is working on this.

Most of the others are at least personable, including Mara and Beelzebub. One exception is the Black Rider, who tends to be very aloof, although he's... friendly in his own way to Raidou ("It was entertaining watching you struggle on the verge of death HAVE AN ITEM >D"). The other major exception is Orochi, who is very vocal about missing the days when human girls were sacrificed to him and respects absolutely no human but Raidou - and Raidou only because he beat the hell out of Orochi in a fight while Orochi was sober.

How would Mayu react if she found herself in Raidou and Narumi's world?
