It took 1 year and 4 months, but Mayuko cracked 4000 comments! My icon demonstrates my shock and amazement. So since it's been quite a while since I've done one, Anything Goes/Questions Meme!

ASK A QUESTION, it can be anything CFUD related. OOC, IC, relationship/first impressions, psychology, thoughts, whatever. I.E. My character's opinion of your character (relationships and whatnot) or maybe what you have been wondering about this behavior or that, or general thoughts on my characters or canons, Hot or Not, You Should Jump Me, App My Canon, whatever you want to ask for. WHEN I REPLY, I will also ask you a question in turn!

~~Hot or not~~ Lol I'm not that terrible. Hmmmmm what does Mayu think of all the plot stuff going on?

Mayu's thoughts on the plot are that she has no idea what destroyer-of-worlds is coming and that's worrisome. She offered up the library's basement for whatever people need it for, a lot of her energy is turned towards clearing the basement and protecting core texts. She's remembering how bad it got two years back when she was stuck for days in the library for the superzombie attack, probably the most scared she's been in camp EVER. But her two and three-fourths years in camp are prompting her to step up. Yeah, she's taking this all very seriously and will either collapse in exhaustion or demand lots of alcohol. OR BOTH. when/if (sob) the danger passes.

Oh, and given the proximity of that arrow on the map, she will FLIP TABLES if anything happens to the Pimp Cabin. d-don't wanna lose my home again ._.

How aware are any of yours of plot-stuff?

Varying levels all across the board. Ebi is the least aware because she's still so psyched about Akiha and Io, sob. Momiji is aware...and hiding the unease by acting the same as normal...ish.

Which friend of Momiji's does Mayu approve of the least?

Oh man, I thought this would be easy. She disapproves of Hatter the most. She's irritated at Ryuichi for making Momiji uncomfortable! But he's normal, he can be... dealt with. Hatter's on a different level, and if xe pulls anything, she'd have to get outside help, which would gall her now. But Momiji seems to be on Hatter's good side, so she's not going to say "Stay away"

I have to admit I've been following Ebi and Parker's threads-- how did they strike up and what are Ebi's thoughts on her?

Zero actually introduced them! Parker had just gotten herself into a rough spot and he brought Ebi to her to mother hen her. And Ebi being Ebi saw that there was more than that situation that Parker needed help with. So Parker became adopted-ish by Ebi and Ebi made it a point to befriend her. And now they are hella close. Close enough that Parker felt threatened when Akiha and Io came to camp.

Sensei, will you tell me about the birds and bees?

I would have thought you already knew about the birds and the bees... and the bees and the bees...

If she had to, she would, but it would probably be technical and unsexy. :|

W-what are the odds that Momiji needs the talk?

He gets sex, is a Sohma. But he's also being dumb right now. Would mostly ask to tease sensei.

If Mayu had to go home to a world other than hers, which would she go to?

Narumi and Raidou's world! She knows them, it's... some sort of Japan and she wouldn't be a complete muggle there. If Mayu's still here in January, she'd take her three-day vacation over there...

Out of yours, who is the most eager for January to roll around?

Probably....George or Tsuna. Nakatsu has Pell here, Mika wants to see Rabi pretty badly but doomsday plot is keeping him entertained atm, Tsuna really really misses his friends man (he has never been gone from them this long ever since he met them), George and Yuki are codependent so Yuki leaving messed him up big time, Ohno likes camp better than home, Nana...is scared of going home cuz she probably won't be able to handle leaving Hachi again, Ebi has all her favorites here, Momiji wants to check on his cousins and Akito but fears for his virginity.

Least favorite Sohma, not counting Akito?

Yuki and Ayame's mother! She made a really bad impression during Yuki's parent-teacher conference.

Unless you meant zodiac-Sohmas... she kinda lumps them together into one general impression. Mayu was less familiar with Rin? Shigure is still the most likely to get the "Argh, what are you doing here?!" response, but she appreciates his giving her information... and feels HEAVY obligation towards him.

So student, how did you help "persuade" Hatori into taking me out?

Probably wasn't that difficult, I buttered him up with gifts from Mikage and pictures/recordings from Mikage and Teito's wedding. Hurray for fulfilled obligations!

At this point in time, is Mayuko ready to leave Camp or would she like to stay a while longer?

Mayu wants to stay! Well, RIGHT NOW, she'd want to leave due to IMPENDING DOOM. But with only Momiji from home, she feels... free? To act as she sees fit. Before it was like, "I don't want ~~Hatori~~ people from home to judge me for wanting to explore and beat up monsters and get loot, conform conform" But now she can! And she does! Not the most effective fighter, but she smacks the little lvl-1 monsters around and >D >D >D. Camp is more exciting.

What is your characters' most valuable possession?

Tiffany should jump Mayuko--they've probably seen each other in the Library a lot.

Is Tiffany from a Terry Prachett work? I have only read a few... (Or if I have it all wrong, tell me a bit about her canon!)

Yes--she's from the YA books starting from "The Wee Free Men", "A Hat Full of Sky", "Wintersmith" and most recently "I Shall Wear Midnight".

If you've read the Discworld books about the witches, the YA series is linked up to them as Tiffany is Granny Weatherwax's unofficial student despite getting her training from the other witches.
